What colors are the Parish Center & Gallery?
The Parish Center of Cary is open to the general public.
While parishioners of
St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church receive a discount on the
event space rental fee, all are welcome to use our services.
Our specific policies can be found
here.
The church and catering hold two separate calendars.
Booking services with one does not guarantee availability with the other.
You can get added to the church calendar and pay hall fees
through the main church office. Our Contact
page has more information if needed.
Catering services are arranged through SpiceCubed
Catering. Visit
www.SpiceCubedCatering.com or contact
David@SpiceCubed.com for more information.
SpiceCubed Catering staff
must cater all events, involving
hot food, booked in the
Parish Center or the
Gallery. Exceptions include specialty cakes
(wedding or birthday) and we would be happy to refer you to our recommended
bakeries. This is to ensure the highest quality food and service for your
guests. We will be happy to work with your needs and will try to prepare
any item not found on our menus.
We can line the staff up and sing, but trust us it's not
that pretty. We will however be glad to refer you to plenty of groups that
can. Let us know what you are looking for and we might be able to point
you in the right direction. If you prefer not to deal with it, we can book
the decorator or entertainment and then add their charges to your invoice (with
a slight up charge for our time).
We do have storage for your items (within reason),
however please let us know you are coming so we can clear enough room for you.
Cooler or freezer space is usually limited so if you have any items that need to
stay cold we recommend bringing them in at the last minute. Beverages will
be chilled over ice in coolers instead of refrigeration. All items
need to be removed immediately after event.
Beer & wine is allowed, but mixed beverages are not.
Also, we do not furnish alcohol of any kind. You are permitted to bring in
beer & wine, and no permit is required. Although we do not provide
alcohol, you will be required to use our bartenders to control whom
and how much alcohol is being served. Any event involving alcohol on the
Saint Michael campus must go through SpiceCubed Catering.
Yes. You can bring decorations into the hall.
You may not use tape, nails, glue, etc. to hang items from the walls.
SpiceCubed Catering provides hurricane globes and white candles for centerpieces (at no
additional charge) but you are welcome to bring your own if you choose. If
you furnish balloons, they must be on 20' strings so that they can be retrieved
from the ceiling.
No, Saint Michaels does not need an itinerary. But,
in order for your function to run smoothly, SpiceCubed Catering will need a
schedule of events. If you need help planning your itinerary, please feel
free to ask our catering director.
